Managing Verification Settings
Learn how to customize your organization's verification settings, including token validity and verification purposes.
Accessing Organization Settings
You can reach your organization settings through one of these methods:
- Click your name card in the top left corner
- Use the dropdown menu in the left navbar
- Access via Quick Actions panel on the dashboard
Configuring Verification Settings
Navigate to Verification Settings Tab
Once in organization settings, select the "Organization" tab to access verification settings.
Token Validity Settings
Premium feature
Token validity customization is available exclusively for Premium tier users.
Configure how long verification tokens remain valid:
- Default validity: 1 day
- Adjustable range: 1-30 days
- Choose the desired number of days from the dropdown and the setting will be automatically be updated after selection
If a customer doesn't start the verification process within the validity period, you'll need to create a new verification request.
Manage Verification Purposes
Pro feature
Verification purposes customization is available for Pro and Premium tier users.
Customize the list of verification purposes:
- Locate the "Verification Purposes" section
- Click "Add Purpose" to create new entries
- Click existing purposes to edit them
- Use the delete icon to remove unwanted purposes
- Each change will be automatically updated
These purposes will be:
- Available for your team to select when creating verifications
- Shown to customers as the reason for verification
Important Notes
- Token validity changes apply to new verification requests only
- Existing verification tokens remain unchanged
- Custom verification purposes are available organization-wide
