Referral Program — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the referral program (the "Program") offered by Vericato. By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• The Program is open to individuals or entities with a Vericato account in good standing (the "Referrer").
• The person referred (the "Referral") must be a new customer who has not previously created a paid account with Vericato.
• Referrals for the Referrer's own alternate accounts, employees, or anyone the Referrer controls are not eligible.

2. How the Program Works

• The Referrer shares their unique referral coupon/code with a Referral.
• The Referral uses that coupon at checkout when purchasing a paid plan.
• Once the Referral completes a successful paid purchase and the payment is finalized (see Section 4), the Referrer becomes eligible to receive a referral credit.

3. Discount for the Referral

• The Referral receives a one-time 10% discount off their first paid plan purchase when they apply the Referrer’s coupon at checkout.

4. Referral Credit for Referrer

• For each eligible Referral who uses a Referrer's coupon and completes a paid purchase, the Referrer will receive a one-time account credit equal to the monthly price of the plan purchased by the Referral (prorated if the Referral purchased an annual plan).
• Credits will be applied to the Referrer's Vericato billing account within 14 days of the Referral's successful purchase, provided the Referral's payment is not refunded or disputed.
• If the Referral's purchase is refunded, reversed, or otherwise invalidated within 30 days of purchase, any corresponding credit will be revoked from the Referrer's account.

Note: If you'd prefer a different credit model (for example, a fixed cash amount per referral or a percentage of the purchase), tell us and we can adjust the program terms.

5. Credit Use and Limits

• Credits are applied to future Vericato invoices and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Credits expire 12 months after issuance if not used.
• Vericato reserves the right to limit the number of credits a single Referrer can receive in a given period.

6. Restrictions & Allotments

• To qualify, the Referral must apply the coupon at checkout and complete the first paid purchase.
• Only payments that clear and are not disputed or refunded count toward a referral.
• The Program cannot be combined with other referral-specific promotions unless explicitly stated.

7. Fraud & Abuse

• Vericato reserves the right to suspend, withhold, or revoke credits if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Referrer or Referral engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
• Examples of abuse include creating multiple accounts to claim credits, using stolen payment methods, or any activity intended to circumvent these Terms.

8. Taxes

• Any taxes resulting from receiving a referral credit are the responsibility of the Referrer. Consult a tax advisor to determine potential tax obligations.

9. Program Modification & Termination

• Vericato may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Terms at any time for any reason. Changes will become effective when posted on the Vericato website or within the Vericato application.

10. Disclaimer & Liability

• Vericato provides the Program "as is" and makes no warranties regarding the Program’s availability or benefits. Vericato’s total liability in connection with the Program is limited to the value of credits actually issued to the Referrer.

11. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Vericato entity providing the Program. If you have questions about jurisdiction or enforcement, contact Vericato support.
